Appeal Description

This appeal relates to a complaint made to Engineering New Zealand in relation to engineering design and building consent work for foundation relevelling.

Appeal Finding

This appeal was declined. The appeal panel found that the Respondent met the essential requirement of his obligations as a Chartered Professional Engineer, in terms of his design features report, Producer Statements etc. He has quoted relevant evidence for his work and has had his evidence affirmed by an expert advisor engaged by the Registration Authority. The Christchurch City Council had no issues with his work.
