Appeal Ruling #95: 27 February 2026

Dr A (“the Appellant”) appealed a decision made by the Chair of the Investigating Committee (“the CIC”) of the Registration Authority (“the RA”) not to refer a complaint made by them against Ms B, a Chartered Professional Engineer (“the Respondent”), to an Investigating Committee under Rule 57(a) of the Chartered Professional Engineers Rules (No. 2) 2002 (“the Rules”).1

The Appeal Panel dismissed the Appeal. 

a. In relation to the preparation of the Report, there is no applicable ground of discipline.
b. In relation to allegations on the Respondent’s qualifications, we conclude this is conduct insufficiently grave to warrant further investigation.
