Mr A has appealed a decision made by the Chair of the Investigating Committee (“the CIC”) of the Registration Authority (“the RA”) to refer a complaint made against them by Mr B (“the Respondent”), to an Investigating Committee under Rule 57 of the Chartered Professional Engineers Rules 2025 (“the Rules”). Having found that none of the grounds of appeal are made out, the decision of the Panel is to exercise its power in s 37(5)(a) of the Act to confirm the decision of the CIC that has been appealed and dismiss the Appellant’s appeal.
