Appeal Description

The appeal relates to a dismissed complaint about an engineer's alleged role in ground preparation for a house build, not being executed in a manner compliant with the consented design.

Appeal Finding

The panel found the engineer's role was limited to the structural engineering and he could not be held accountable for alleged shortcomings in the execution of ground preparation beneath the concrete slab.
