Appeal Ruling#60: 5 November 2021

This appeal was filed by an engineer against the decision of an Investigating Committee to refer a complaint about him, to a Disciplinary Committee.  The complaint had been raised by the owners of a residential property concerning the engineer’s work regarding an assessment and reporting for earthquake damage repairs.  The appeal was upheld by the panel on the grounds that the alleged misconduct was insufficiently grave to warrant further investigation.
